BOLIVIA MEETING SUCCESS AT NATIONAL CONFERENCE!
The Fringe meeting on Bolivia organised by the West Midlands
at UNISON conference was well received.
50 delegates heard an upto date report on Bolivia by Mario Rodriguez (an auther and community radio broadcaster from the radical city of EL Alto)
Also speaking was Amancay Colque from the british based Bolivia Solidarity campaign, who outline the role of the campaign and also appealed for more branches to affiliate.
Although the motion from Wolverhampton branch did not reach the agenda , it is hoped that the NEC (who are responsible for progressing motions not heard) will support affiliation.
(Pictured from L to R are Mario, Amancay and Manny Bueno from Sandwell General , who as a Bolivian was proud to help out )
