Almost two weeks ago the trade union leader and close partner of JFC, Huber Ballesteros, was arrested. Huber has dedicated his life to defending workers and promoting human rights. He was due to arrive in England on Sunday to address the annual TUC conference. He is instead locked away in a prison cell in Bogotá....

Please sign and share widely the petition for Huber's release and join us in telling the Colombian government that we will not tolerate its continuing use of the legal system to persecute political opponents.
